Zombie Prom, Outcomes 1 and 4
We’re very close to our performances of Zombie Prom and I’ve been thinking a lot about how it’s been going. This is a show that the majority of us have agreed is bad. Nevertheless, we’ve had a great time getting to know each other and we’ve all made a lot of great new friends. I’ve enjoyed the role I’ve been given and I’ve really enjoyed all of the new friends I’ve made. It really seems like there’s a new generation of HITS kids blossoming in this show even though it wasn’t really very good. Through a role in a sub-par show I’ve been able to identify my own strengths and develop areas for growth. I found that I had to work harder on my singing and dancing if I wanted to stand out in theatre. I really feel like I’ve been pushed harder to excel and I feel that my future in musical theater is brighter because of this show. I was also able to show commitment to and perseverance in a fieldwork experience as I was doing a show I consistently had the urge to quit as I wasn’t enjoying it. Rega...
